About Clay & Beyond

Clay & Beyond began with a simple thought: art should be easier to discover, experience and enjoy — without needing to already be an artist.

For Disha, the journey towards this idea was deeply personal.

With a Master’s in Control & Automation from Nirma University and over 10 years in IT consulting, her professional journey took her from Gandhinagar to Pune and all the way to Brisbane, Australia. Alongside her corporate career, however, there was always another side of her that stayed close to creativity.

Disha had always been inclined towards art and often wanted to make more time for herself — to slow down, create something with her hands and step away from the routines of work and screens. Like many working professionals, finding that time and the right opportunity was not always easy.

She also noticed something interesting.

Many creative spaces were centred around a particular art form, while several independent artists conducted workshops at cafés or temporary venues. There were talented artists everywhere — but for someone who had never explored art before, discovering different art forms, finding the right artist and deciding where to begin could still feel difficult.

That observation sparked an idea.

What if different artists and different art forms could come together under one roof? A place where you could walk in without any prior experience, discover something new and simply give yourself permission to create.

That idea became Clay & Beyond, and with it, Sasvat Kalp Private Limited was formed.

Today, Clay & Beyond brings together expert artists and a growing variety of creative experiences in one welcoming space. Whether it is pottery, painting, texture art, mosaic or another form of hands-on creativity, the intention remains the same — to make art approachable for more people.

But Clay & Beyond is about more than learning an art form.
